Every Pimenta Stone project begins with an on-site consultation where we assess your property, discuss your vision, and review material options. From there, we develop a project scope tailored to your site conditions, budget, and design goals. Unlike many contractors, we offer deep expertise in natural stone selection — from bluestone and travertine to granite, limestone, and Techo-Bloc pavers — so we can guide you toward materials that will perform beautifully in the Mid-Atlantic climate for decades. Once scope is agreed, our project managers oversee every phase of construction, keeping you informed from groundbreaking to final walk-through. We don't rush. Our belief is that the finest work is built slowly, carefully, and by hand.

We take a long-term view on sustainability. The most sustainable choice in masonry is building something that lasts — and that's been our standard since 1994. We use natural stone and quality hardscape materials that don't need replacing every 10–15 years the way lower-grade alternatives do. When selecting materials, we consider local sourcing where possible, permeability for stormwater management (particularly important in Maryland and Virginia where runoff regulations continue to tighten), and designs that work with the natural topography of your property rather than against it. We're also a certified Techo-Bloc installer, giving clients access to a full line of engineered permeable paver systems.

Timeline varies significantly by project scope. A standard stone patio or walkway typically runs 2–4 weeks of active construction. A full outdoor living build — pool deck, outdoor kitchen, retaining walls, and hardscape — can run 6–12 weeks depending on size and material lead times. We serve a large area including Montgomery County MD, Fairfax County VA, and DC, and schedule projects seasonally. We recommend contacting us in late winter or early spring to secure a spot for summer or fall installation.
